Kathleen RIDOLFO is regional analyst for Iraq. She compiles weekly "Iraq Report" and writes for the "RFE/RL Newsline." Prior to joining RFE/RL in 2002, she worked as a research assistant that the Institute for National Strategic Studies, National Defense University. She previously served as Director of Programs at the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C. From 1998-2000, Ridolfo worked as a consultant for several Palestinian NGOs and companies in the West Bank, and as Foreign Relations Officer at the Arab Thought Forum in Jerusalem.
She earned a BA in History and Political Science at the University of New Hampshire and attended the MA in Arab Studies program at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
Ridolfo covers Iraq for RFE/RL's Newsline and Iraq Report. Her publications include "The Arab World: Progress and Struggle," in "The Global Century: Globalization and National Security", NDU Press, 2001.
